Job Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven marketeer with experience in implementing tactical marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and revenue through the hotel’s lifestyle and leisure facilities, including the restaurants, bars and spa. You will be responsible for coordinating all promotional material, managing social media for multiple brands, arranging internal photo/video shoots and preparing monthly activity calendars. We’re looking for candidates who are comfortable interacting with key departments, media influencers and partners and possesses excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic integration marketing plans per outlet including advertising, promotions, public relations, content creation and social media.
  • Improve workflow between operations and marketing departments by serving as the key liaison
  • Plan monthly promotional calendar with outlet managers generating ideas for new offerings
  • Coordinate media/influencer visits to generate coverage and increase media visibility for each outlet
  • Handle and coordinate all media requests, media releases, enquiries and presentations-hosting media, influencers and VIPs to drive quality media and impactful word of mouth
  • Manage digital marketing and social media activities including the development of content and analysis of reach and conversion for each outlet’s social media profiles
  • Regularly define and identify most effective communication channels to promote tactical offers and ensure high-quality content is posted daily on every restaurant’s social pages
  • Ensure each outlet’s Google profiles, Zomato listings, TripAdvisor listings, online menus, third-party media listings are up to date
  • Design and develop marketing material (photo and video shooting, print collateral, social media, WhatsApp and direct marketing emails)
  • Responsible for social community management for all restaurants and bars
  • Maintain and grow the guest database for each outlet and develop a communications plan to notify guests of offers and promotions through SMS marketing and email marketing
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and media events to drive incremental revenue to the outlets through the year
  • Keep up to date with marketing trends, competitors, new communication techniques and the digital ecosystem, in order to explore and recommend creative ways to reach out to target audience groups
  • Coordinate photoshoots
  • Proactively invite lifestyle editors and journalists to the hotel for lunch or dinner and show around of the facilities
  • Proactively seek for complimentary competition opportunities to gain brand exposure and bring footfall to the hotel
  • Conduct regular audits on the hotel’s descriptive content and images to ensure parity
  • Maintains a healthy social relationship with the bloggers and instagrammers by being responsive and interactive in his / her own personal social media platforms
  • Evaluate and prepare reports showing the results of marketing campaigns (ROI) on F&B and spa revenue and covers
  • Work closely with the department head with regards to the financial management of the marketing department by obtaining estimates from suppliers and following up on LPOs and invoices
  • Perform additional tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned by the department head

Skill Set Required

  • Proven skills in luxury hotel environment in a leadership role.

  • Ability to interpret and create policies, procedures, and manuals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media
  • 5-7 years’ experience in marketing and communications, within hotels or independent hospitality and lifestyle companies
  • Self-motivated, possessing a creative flair, eye for detail, exceptional copywriting skills, up to date in life-style trends
  • Extensive experience in managing social media profiles for lifestyle and F&B brands
  • Proven experience of understanding key digital marketing and PR disciplines, and developing plans and strategies
  • Skilled in digital marketing and social media software tools
  • Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and approach challenges with a commercial mindset
  • Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with various levels of management
  • Knowledge and experience in cost and budget management

Salary and Benefits
