We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. As a Kitchen Technician you are responsible for all the Kitchen equipment maintenance as instructed by Duty Engineer while adhering to Company's policies and procedures.Kitchen equipment technicians are responsible for maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing a large inventory of electric and gas commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that all kitchen equipments are properly maintained and service to upkeep all equipments and to avoid breakdown
• Perform repairs and maintenance duties on a wide variety of kitchen and refrigeration equipment such as walk-in freezers, industrial-sized steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, and water coolers.
• Respond to breakdowns of equipments and being available in case of emergency and applying the appropriate action as per Hotel policy and standards
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Log into the work order management system to find, accept, and complete the work requests
• Perform other duties the supervisor may assign.

Job Requirements

• High school or equivalent is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Commercial refrigeration and/or commercial cooking equipment repair experience.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and risk of electrical shock in damp, humid, or freezing conditions.
• Strong ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, and to follow manuals on operation and installation to successful complete tasks
• Strong ability to apply various types of equipment safely and efficiently, and to maintain and service them
• Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision and take responsibility for the repair of assigned equipment
• Strong ability to prioritize assigned tasks for increased job delivery
• Strong knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory, and safety
• Strong knowledge of the fundamental of commercial refrigeration practice and theory.
• Strong knowledge of the fundamental of commercial refrigeration practice and theory.
• Ability to work in a team setting with other maintenance workers, and also with staff and members of the public
• Strong ability to quickly understand and carry out both written and oral instructions effectively

Salary and Benefits

Offered Salary: AED 2000 monthly - AED 2500 monthly
